How to Join the Thanksgiving Outreach in Colorado Springs!

1) Sign Up!

Do you know a family or is your own family in need of a Thanksgiving meal this year? We’d love to help! Simply complete the nomination form using the link below.

Each Thanksgiving Basket includes a full-size turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, seasonings, utensils, and a variety of delicious sides and desserts, everything needed to prepare and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner filled with love, gratitude, and togetherness.

If the nominated family does not have access to a stove, no problem! Our team will prepare a fully cooked meal and arrange convenient pickup at our designated location.

To get started, please fill out the form with basic details—name, contact information, address, number of people in the household, and any special notes or instructions. Once submitted, a member of our outreach team will follow up to confirm your nomination and share next steps.

2) How can you help? Become a Sponsor!

You can make a direct impact this Thanksgiving by sponsoring a family in need. Each sponsor is personally matched with a real family based on their household size and specific needs.

3) Assemble & Pickup

We’ll coordinate assembling the meal kits and then all families can come and pickup their baskets on delivery day during the scheduled pickup time at Refreshing Word Church when needed.

Timeline: Nominations and sponsor sign-ups are open through September 1, 2025 to November 20, 2025. Pickup will take place on November 23, 2026.

This outreach is more than a meal—it’s a message of love, community, and hope for families across the Pikes Peak Region. Each basket contains a full Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, sides, and dessert, along with a personal note of encouragement. Together, we can bless over 100 families throughout Colorado Springs and remind them that they are seen, loved, and supported this holiday season.
